It seems Idaho’s Alternative Energy Holdings, Inc.’s Company will be in for a busy season as their subsidiary Green World Water, the first commercially available nuclear desalination reactor has received inquiries from continents South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. For those not familiar with the technology, in simplest terms, the reactor will make clean and potable water and an alternative energy source for countries everywhere. Nuclear desalination is considered as a new process and for many, a much better option financially and environmentally, than fossil fuels. Nuclear Desalination does not emit greenhouse gas whereas its counterpart does. To date, several countries are already in the process of examining the nuclear desalination processes with possibilities of even putting it offshore. Green World Water comes out with pumped desalinated ocean water and high amounts of cheap electricity to power everything from a simple household to a whole community to large industrial plants. Sizes and usage vary and are quite extensive. For industrial use, there’s 650 Megawatt and the 1,100 Megawatt reactors. For residential use, the smaller and stackable 25 megawatt units will suffice. The latter was made possible through a partnership with Hyperion Power Generation. To add, the units will also be usable for rivers and even smaller briny bodies of water. It comes as no surprise why so many countries and their particular government bodies are interested in the technology. Imagine if you could power 100,000 household communities on one form of technology alone....
